Coffee from Brazil - Cemorado Sweet
Coffee from Brazil is actually a synonym for mild coffee. Here we would like to introduce you to more than just coffee from Brazil - in fact, more coffee from Brazil. Cemorrado Sweet is a blend of coffee beans from two coffee-growing regions in Brazil; Cerrado and Mogiana. The combination of these two names is what gave rise to the name of our CeMoRrado coffee. This is another blend of Brazilian coffees from the Cemorrado series that we have in our roastery. The blend was composed directly on the coffee plantations in Brazil, in such a way as to particularly emphasize the sweetness contained in coffees from Brazil. The coffees come from plantations located at a relatively high altitude for Brazilian conditions, between 1,150 and 1,350 meters above sea level. After being harvested from the coffee plants, the coffee is processed using the natural method; in short, this involves exposing the harvested coffee to the public on special terraces so that the top part of the coffee berry dries out. The coffee is rotated in the sun for several days so that it dries evenly. Naturals processing of coffee guarantees greater sweetness and a nuanced flavour. As the coffee dries, the sugars contained in the coffee berries have time to penetrate deeper into the green coffee bean. The plantations from which Brazil Cemorrado Sweet comes are planted with Yellow Catuai and Yellow Bourbon arabica coffee varieties - both famous for their mildness and sweetness.
We have prepared for you 3 roasts of Brazil Cemorrado Sweet coffee; Light roast, medium roast and dark roast. For those who use espresso machines, we suggest the medium roast. For those who prefer pour-over methods, the light roast is optimal. The description of the sensorics applies to the medium roast.
In keeping with its name, the coffee's flavor greets us with an all-encompassing sweetness of chocolate, interspersed with notes of raisins, with nutty notes in the background.
