Uganda Coffee - Robusta.
Uganda Robusta Naturals - coffee with a lot of caffeine.
Robusta coffee is an energy drink created by nature has twice as much caffeine as the arabica variety. For lovers of caffeine in robusta coffee, we recommend choosing a light roast from our coffee shop, in which case freshly roasted coffee contains the most caffeine of any coffee roast available.
Coffee in Uganda.
Uganda is the largest coffee producer among Commonwealth nations, the second largest coffee producer in Africa and the seventh largest in the world.
Uganda is a country in East Africa that gained its independence in 1962. Coffee from Uganda, especially the Robusta variety (coffea canephora), accounts for 85% of all coffee exports from Uganda. It is well known around the world. Ugandans export nearly 100% of their coffee to other countries.
It is believed that it was in Uganda that robusta was discovered, near Lake Victoria. The discovery is linked to an interesting bond-building ritual. In the ancient land of Buganda, in what is now Uganda, there was a custom of sacred ritual. People who were close to each other would peel the outer skin off the cherries of robusta coffee and then eat the split beans at the same time, believing that from then on the spirit of robusta would bind them together in a relationship of friendship and mutual loyalty for eternity.
Most Ugandan robusta is processed using the natural method. The processing method involves drying the harvested coffee cherries in the sun and then removing the top part of the coffee cherry after drying. We offer you coffee processed in this way at our roastery, where we roast coffee to your order. This way you can enjoy freshly roasted coffee when you place an order at SwiezoWypalana.pl coffee shop.
Where does the coffee come from?
Robusta comes from plantations located at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,900 meters above sea level where it is grown together with banana palms. Thanks to tall trees, coffee plants grow in shade, protected from excessive sunlight.
What does the coffee taste like?
This is one of the unusual robusta coffees, after grinding it greets us with sweet caramel aromas. The taste is dominated by rich notes of cocoa and nuts. A perfect coffee for those who need a powerful boost of energy first thing in the morning. In our opinion, Robusta from Uganda is the best coffee prepared in the French press.
