Fazenda Santo Antônio Plantation - family tradition and sustainability
Brazil Fazenda Santo Antônio is located in the state of Matas de Minas, 300 km north of Rio de Janeiro. It is a 200-hectare farm growing Catuai 144 arabica coffee varieties. The plantation is owned and managed by Mauro Luis Heringer, who cares about sustainability and is certified Organic and Rainforest Alliance. The plantation is also part of the COOPFAM cooperative, which brings together some 250 farmers from across the state of Minas Gerais.
