The crops, though modest in size, are extremely efficient, hiding the SL 14/28 coffee plants under the shade of banana trees, which shields them from excessive sunlight. In addition, the plants benefit from irrigation by water flowing from the Sipi waterfalls, giving them ideal hydration. After harvesting, the coffee is processed using the 'washed' method, which translates into exceptional freshness and purity of flavor.
