Discover; Coffee from Brazil - Fazenda Vale do Sol, another treasure offered by Sochaccy Artisan Coffee Roasters, this time coming directly from the Valley of the Sun, as the Portuguese name of the farm translates. Founded by Alexandre Garcia Capeloa, the plantation is now tended by the founder's grandson, Antonio Wander Garcia, along with his family. Antonio, representing the third generation of growers, stands out not only for his passion, but also for his thorough training in agricultural engineering, focusing on studying the processes of the coffee bushes.
Where does coffee come from?
Located near the town of Elói Mendes, in the heart of the Sul de Minas region in the state of Minas Gerais, the plantation enjoys not only a history dating back to the 18th century, but also a charming, warm climate, although its first inhabitants had to face challenges from swarms of Mutuca mosquitoes, after which the town was originally named.

Coffee from Vale do Sol is the essence of Brazilian coffees. Cultivated at altitudes of 860 to 950 meters above sea level, it covers an area of 75 hectares, of which only 42 hectares are dedicated to coffee cultivation, the rest of the land remains virgin, preserving the natural balance of the ecosystem. The plantation employs innovative cultivation methods, including protecting arabica coffee plants from the wind by planting banana trees and using more resistant arabica varieties for pest control, enhancing the natural resilience of the crop through organic farming methods.
