Each of the one-hectare plots is carefully monitored for soil composition, water needs and other parameters, allowing for optimal crop management.

Fazenda Pântano produces as many as 148 different coffee varieties, most of which are in the experimental stage. Collaboration with the Brazilian Institute of Coffee Research allows for continuous improvement of processing and the discovery of exciting new flavors. The plantation also uses eco-friendly solutions such as honey-based pesticides and waste reduction programs. With its commitment to the community, the farm supports local schools, offers training for employees and provides full health care.
